A 110 (2024) 042413 ​摘要： The concept of wave-particle duality holds significant importance in the field of quantum mechanics, as it elucidates the dual nature encompassing both wavelike and particlelike properties exhibited by microscopic particles. In this paper, we construct generalized measures for the predictability and visibility of n-path interference fringes to quantify the wave and particle properties in quantum high-dimensional systems. By employing the Morozova-Chentsov function, we ascertain that the wave-particle relationship can be delineated by the average coherence. This function exhibits a close correlation with the metric-adjusted skew information, thereby we establish complementary relations between visibility, predictability, and quantum f entropy, which reveal deep connections between wave-particle duality and other physical quantities. Through our methodology, diverse functions can be selected to yield corresponding complementary relationships.

In order to detect all the coherent states, we introduce a useful concept of coherence witness and structure the set of coherence witnesses $C^{d}_{[m,M]}$. We present necessary and sufficient conditions of detecting quantum coherence of $d-$dimensional quantum states based on $C^{d}_{[m,M]}$. Moreover,we show that each coherent state can be detected by one of the coherence witnesses in a finite set. We establish a connection between the imaginarity and quantum nonlocality in any two-qubit states. Based on the imaginarity l_1-norm and relative entropy, we derive complementary relations among the quantum imaginarities with respect to any set of mutually unbiased bases for arbitrary qubit states. Based on these complementary relations, we introduce the nonlocal advantage of quantum imaginarity (NAQI). We show that any two-qubit state with NAQI is quantum steerable, but not vice versa. In addition, we investigate the exclusion property of NAQI in three-qubit pure states.

In this paper, we present a kind of sum-of-squares (SOS) decomposition for general Bell inequalities in two qubits systems. By using the obtained SOS decomposition, we can then find the measurement operators associated with the maximal violation of considered Bell inequality.Wealso practice the SOS decomposition method by considering the (generalized) Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) Bell inequality, the Elegant Bell inequality, the Gisin inequality and the Chained Bell inequality as examples. The corresponding SOS decompositions and the measurement operators that cause the maximum violation values of these Bell inequalities are derived, which are consistent with previous results.Wefurther discuss the device independent quantum randomness by using the SOS decompositions of Bell inequalities.Wetake the generalized CHSHinequality with the maximally entangled state and the Werner state that attaining the maximal violations as examples. Exact value or lower bound on the maximal guessing probability using the SOS decomposition are obtained. For Werner state, the lower bound can supply a much precise estimation of quantum randomness when p tends to 1.

We first establish a tighter general upper bound of the $\alpha$th ($0\leq\alpha\leq2$) power of concurrence for $N$-qubit states. Then for $N$-qubit systems $ABC_1...C_{N-2}$, the optimized monogamy relations and upper bounds satisfied by the $\alpha$th ($0\leq\alpha\leq2$) power of concurrence of $N$-qubit pure states under the partition $AB$ and $C_1...C_{N-2}$, as well as under the partition $ABC_1$ and $C_2...C_{N-2}$ are established, which give rise to restrictions on the entanglement distribution and trade offs among the subsystems. Moreover, the utilization of the $W$-class states demonstrates that our results are tighter compared with the existing results. Similar results are also obtained for negativity

Quantum algorithms for entanglement detection have recently attracted considerable attention. Based on block encoding techniques and state preparation methods, the implementation of several types of entanglement witnesses using quantum circuits without quantum state tomography is proposed. Further, explicit quantum circuits for the block encoding of some special matrices are presented.

D 110 (2024) 055025 摘要：We employ the entropic uncertainty relations and the quantum Fisher information to explore the formation of quark $t\bar{t}$ pairs at a large hadron collider through the combination of $q\bar{q}$ pair and $gg$ pair initiated processes. A comprehensive analysis has been undertaken on the procedure of quark and gluon channel mixing in the production of top quark pairs $t\bar{t}$, encompassing the tightness of the entropic uncertainty inequalities and the maximum quantum Fisher information of the system.

Variational quantum circuits are one of the promising ways to exploit the advantages of quantum computing in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum technology era. The design of the quantum circuit architecture might greatly affect the performance capability of the quantum algorithms. The quantum architecture search is the process of automatically designing quantum circuit architecture, aiming at finding the optimal quantum circuit composition architecture by the algorithm for a given task, so that the algorithm can learn to design the circuit architecture. Compared to manual design, quantum architecture search algorithms are more effective in finding quantum circuits with better performance capabilities. In this paper, based on the deep reinforcement learning, we propose an approach for quantum circuit architecture search. The sampling of the circuit architecture is learnt through reinforcement learning-based controller. Layer-based search is also used to accelerate the computational efficiency of the search algorithm. Applying to data classification tasks, we show that the method can search for quantum circuit architectures with better accuracies. Moreover, the circuit has a smaller number of quantum gates and parameters.
