Abstract :
We consider the Cauchy problem for the generalized Burgers equation with nonlinear viscosity, in particular, of quasi-plastic fluid type.Under a condition on the nonlinearity,we show the global asymptotic stability of constant states by a technical energy method. This is a joint work bwith Natsumi Yoshida.
