Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce two recent results about the MHD equations with partial dissipation. The first result is the global well-posedness of 2-D MHD equations with magnetic diffusion for small data. The second result is the global well-posedness of 3-D MHD equations with partial dissipation in the periodic domain when the initial magnetic field is close to a constant vector satisfying the Diophantine condition and the initial velocity is small.
