Abstract: The asymptotic behaviors of kinetic equations in bounded domains usually involve the analysis of boundary layers. In this talk, we will analyze the major difficulty in the construction of kinetic boundary layers and the proof of asymptotic convergence. In particular, we will focus on the effect of geometric correction in boundary layer and the regularity estimates.
