Abstract : We show that the logarithmic decomposition theorem of Deligne-Illusie preserves Deligne's weight filtration. There are two applications: (i) a positive characteristic analogue of Deligne's theorem on mixed Hodge structure attached to a complex algebraic variety; (ii) a positive characteristic analogue of a cohomological mixed Hodge complex.
