Abstract: The famous Mather-Yau type theorems in complex singularity theory state that the hypersurface singularities are determined by the Tjurina algebra (and also the Milnor algebra) of the defining function of the hypersurfaces. In this talk, we will present a noncommutative version of the Mather-Yau type theorems in the context of quivers with potential, and show some of its applications to Calabi-Yau algebras. This talk is based on a joint work with Zheng Hua.
