摘要: In this talk, I will report recent results on deformation theory of Chow groups, mainly due to Green-Griffiths, Bloch-Esnault-Kerz and myself. The focus will be variational Hodge conjecture and its variants. In particular, using higher K-theory, I will explain how to answer the following questions posed by Green and Griffiths:
1) How to define tangent space to algebraic cycles in general?
2) Obstruction issues (V.S. Hilbert scheme)
3) Extend Bloch's formula and its variant (due to Soule) to infinitesimal NBHD.
