摘要：In this talk, we will present our recent results on the measure valued solutions to the space homogeneous Boltzmann equation. We will start from a new classification of the characteristic functions in the Fourier space according to the moment constraint, and then show existence, regularity and large time behavior of solutions with either finite or infinite energy for the Maxwellian molecule cross section. Finally, we will present the existence result for both the soft and hard potentials with finite energy. This includes some works with Yong-kum Cho, Yoshinori Morimoto, Shuaikun Wang and Huijiang Zhao on these topics respectively.
