摘要：In this talk we report some progresses in our work over the past few years on fully nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations on real or complex manifolds. We seek general technical methods to overcome difficulties in establishing {/em a priori} second order estimates which are crucial to the existence of classical solutions. We are concerned with both equations on closed manifolds and the Dirichlet problem on manifolds with boundary. In the second half of the talk we shall discuss some details of the proof for equations on Hermitian manifolds and applications in complex geometry. This part is based on joint work with Xiaolan Nie.
