Abstract:Whether or not the classical solutions of the two-dimensional (2D) incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations with only Laplacian magnetic diffusion are globally well-posed is a difficult problem and remains completely open. In this talk, we establish the global regularity of smooth solutions to the 2D incompressible MHD equations with almost Laplacian magnetic diffusion in the whole space. This result can be regarded as a further improvement and generalization of the previous works. Consequently, our result is more closer to the resolution of the global regularity issue on the 2D MHD equations with only standard Laplacian magnetic diffusion.

报告人简介:叶专,2016年6月获得北京师范大学理学博士学位。毕业至今任职于江苏师范大学,现任副教授,硕士生导师,美国《数学评论》评论员和德国《数学文摘》评论员,主要从事流体动力学方程适定性问题的研究。主持过1项国家青年科学基金和 1项江苏省青年科学基金,入选2020年度江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师,部分论文发表在国际重要学术期刊《Journal de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées》(1篇),《Journal of Functional Analysis》(1篇),《Journal of Nonlinear Science》(2篇),《Nonlinearity》(2篇),《Journal of Differential Equations》(9篇)。
