摘要：We present Gross-Pandharipande-Siebert's previous work on the tropical vertex group, which consists of symplectomorphisms of 2-dimensional algebraic torus. Their approach is the construction of rank 2 the scattering diagrams. Nowadays, this construction is linked to cluster algebras, wall crossing formula of non-commutative Donaldson-Thomas invariant. In addition, their work is also linked to Gromov-Witten theory. We would see how these different topics all appear in the rank 2 situation.
