摘要:In this talk, we shall use PDE models to describe and predict the population dynamics in a polluted closed aquatic environment (like a lake). Using spatial models with negative toxicant-taxis (response of avoiding the toxicants), for different boundary conditions and input rates of toxicants, we find conditions under which the species can survive and identify the key factors that affects the global dynamics of aquatic population dynamics along with numerical simulations.

报告人简介:

王治安,香港理工大学应用数学系教授,华中师大本科和硕士,加拿大艾伯塔大学应用数学博士,美国明尼苏达大学应用数学所博士后。主要从事生物数学相关的偏微分方程的研究,尤其是生物学和生态数学中动力学行为的建模与分析。目前已在Proc. London Math. Soc、J. London Math. Soc.、J. Math. Biol.、JMPA、JDE、CPDE、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、SIAM J. Appl. Math.、Indiana U. Math. J. 等杂志上发表学术论文100多篇。现担任 J. Mathematical Biology,DCDS-B等杂志编委。曾获2019年香港数学会青年学者奖。
