Milnor在70年代提出猜想:
设G为一李群，Gd为G採用离散拓扑的拓扑群；
B Gd àBG 为从连续同态id：Gd àG 导出的影射。
假如A 是一有限交换群，则H ( BGd; A) à H ( BG; A)为同构。
自提出以来，进展不多。
不久前有人提出一个证明；方法是要证明在topological monoids 中的某一个diagram的pushout 跟它的homotopy pushout 分别的分类空间在取p－进数完备化后是同伦等价。
我们会介绍这个工作！
内容会涉及:
enriched categories; classifying spaces of topological monoids; simplicial sets, homotopy theory of categories; limits and colimits; adjoint functors; homotopy pushouts; Becker-Gottlieb transfer, … .
