摘要：This talk will be about silting modules and their use in Representation theory. Silting modules generalize (not necessarily finitely generated) 1-tilting modules over any ring and when restricting to finitely presented modules over finite dimensional algebras they coincide precisely with the support $/tau$-tilting modules defined by Adachi,Iyama and Reiten. Silting modules appear naturally in various contexts. They parametrise (not necessarily compact) two-term silting complexes and they are closely linked to torsion theories in module categories and derived categories. Moreover, silting modules are important to better understand different kinds of localisations. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the concept of silting modules and explain some of the results mentioned above. The talk will be based on joint work with Lidia Angeleri Hügel and Jorge Vitoria.
