摘要：In this talk, we will give a brief introduction on the optimal transport problem and discuss its applications in geometry, cosmology, and image recognition.  

报告人简介：刘佳堃，悉尼大学教授，2006本科毕业于浙江大学，2010年在澳大利亚国立大学获得博士，2010-2013年在普林斯顿大学做博士后，2013-2024年在澳大利亚卧龙岗大学工作，2024年转到悉尼大学。主要研究领域为非线性椭圆和抛物偏微分方程及其在几何和最优运输中的应用。在国际著名数学期刊（如数学四大顶级期刊Ann. Math.等）发表了20多篇重要的学术论文。
