摘要:The theory of quantization lies on the boundary between classical and quantum mechanics. The mathematical structures of the two theories are very different, andso it is challenging to understand how the transition from classical to quantum takes place. Quantization, roughly speaking, is the study and prediction ofquantum phenomena, which are normally described by noncommutative associative algebras, from the geometry of their underlying classical counterparts. The idea of quantization can be traced back to Weyl. Broadly speaking, deformation quantization amounts to the study of deformations of a commutative algebra $A$ (of classical observables) into a noncommutative algebra $A_/hbar$ (of quantum observables). In this talk, I will describe a brief history of deformation quntization problem in Poisson geometry.
